Growing up on the gulf coast of Texas42 was the norm when more than 4 people
gathered at the kitchen table! When it was holidays everyone would grab a partner
and wait your turn to play he winners! At Lostracco Family Reunions there
would be several tables set up and it was 42 time. As the years have passed and
loved ones passed...usually the day they die or within the week there is a
thunderstorm and we all laugh when it thunders exclaiming, someone just played
their 6/4...boom it thunders again...someone played the double 5...boom again...
someone went set!

I grew up in Katy and every year on the 4th of July there was a domino tournament
at the VFW hall. I can remember I would go in to get money from my Dad to play
more games or ride rides or buy a drink. As long as he was still in and winning
the money came freely!

I have wonderful memories that center around dominoes.

I am glad to see so many at the tournament. I may have to find me a partner for
next year would be fun!
