I bid 38 in 3s
I have four 6s so my original plan was to fish trumps and hope
6:5 and 6:4 fall when I play 6:6 and then play the deuce off last

So I play 3:3 and my partner gives me 3:2 and the foe to my right plays 3:5
I do not trust him so I play 3:4 to maybe fool the opponent on my left to play count
She is too savvy and my partner plays 3:0 and they are void
So I know she has 3:1

Stop fishing

So I play 6:6 and my partner plays 6:1 and the foe to my right plays 6:5
My partner would have given me 6:4 so I play 6:2 to flush 6:4 and my partner trumps with 3:1
She then plays 2:2 and 1:1 to clean out my offs, last trump, and bid made

Lou and John were our foes and they had knocked us into the losers bracket earlier and so we had to double dip them to win and we did do that
At first it looked like they were gonna roll us again as they started out winning the first 3 marks
Then we got a wee little mark, Leslie got a laydown 84, I bid 36 over Lou's 35 and made it which
invited the first of her three threats to stab me. You know you are doing well if Lou threatens to stab you.
I bid 35 twice to force her to bid 36 (she did) and we set her both times
They had smoked us earlier but at the final table, once the circle turned we rolled

So in this case the 8% chance that my partner had 3 trumps saved me when the 35% chance
that they had the two 6s needed to set me on walking 6s happened.
